Our 200-hour teacher training program is a truly transformative experience that extends beyond the confines of yoga mats and postures. This 200 hour Vinyasa teacher training is designed to excel the requirements set by Yoga Alliance, and we are currently in the application process to become a Yoga Alliance recognized school.

Yoga Humanities

This teacher training is very much rooted in the history & philosophy of yoga. Some of your classes will include - an intro to the history & philosophy of yoga, ethics of teaching, yoga equity & inclusion, and an exploration of yoga limbs and styles.

Anatomy & Physiology

It is important, as yoga teachers, to know how the body is structured and how it functions, so that we can safely practice and lead yoga. This teacher training will include over 30 hours of instruction in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and inclusive alignment.

Yoga for EVERYbody

Yoga is truly for EVERY body. In Komo YTT you will learn how to teach inclusive yoga through the use of props and adjustments, trauma-informed cueing, and modifications for many different types of bodies and neuro-divergencies.

Professional Essentials

This program will set you up for success beyond the physical act of teaching yoga. Some of your classes include- business of yoga, working with clients, inclusive cueing, and learning to hold space.

Technique & Training

In this program, you will learn about the subtle body, meditation, pranayama, and how to teach and practice several styles of yoga. You will be empowered to find your style of teaching and supported as you explore all that yoga has to offer.

Kinaesthetic Learning

All classes will be hands-on and conversation based, with very few lectures. You will begin teaching on day one, and that will continue throughout the program, so that it feels natural and you are prepared to teach by the time you graduate.
